The age of artificial intelligence is upon us! But what’s a classroom teacher to do in order to design authentically student-centered lesson plans in an era where AI seems to dominate nearly every conversation? And how can we spark genuine interest, curiosity, and engagement when it seems like the unstoppable force of AI is everywhere that we turn?
From day one, EMC² Learning has been committed to helping teachers and students engage at the speed of life. And these days, that means helping educators make clearer sense of all things AI.
To help you stay ahead of the game in the face of all these AI powered tools and softwares, the EMC² Learning team is proud to offer a growing collection of courses, training events, and resources that have been precision engineered to help you stay one step ahead of this radical new technology. Rest assured that intrinsically human centered design is, was, and always will remain the beating heart of each of the fully editable activities that call the EMC² Learning platform home. But AI technology allows us to create opportunities for our students to step boldly beyond traditional limitations and explore new levels of imagination, wonder, and excitement.
That’s why we are thrilled to share just a few of the latest AI-friendly additions to our ever-expanding resource collection. We can’t wait to see how you’ll use them to change the game!
LEVEL UP YOUR LEARNING WITH TWO ALL-NEW, SELF-PACED SKILL BUILDER COURSES
Looking to stay ahead of the curve on all things Artificial Intelligence? Develop an eye for AI in a Skill Builder video course or unlock the self-paced “Stop Worrying and Love AI” workbook to learn all about the awesome (and, frankly, at times terrifying!) future of learning thanks to cutting-edge technologies like OpenAI’s ChatGPT software. Whether you’re brand new to AI or a savvy computer-minded innovator, each of these self-paced Skill Builders are available on demand, and will provide thought provoking conversation, practical examples, and actionable takeaways to help you master the basics of these new techs in no time. Topics include safety and privacy concerns, creative possibilities, and sample classroom applications of Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT — all facilitated by a real, live human instructor to help you make sense of all the cold efficiency of AI.
TAKE AI-POWERED PEDAGOGY FOR A SPIN IN YOUR NEXT LESSON PLAN
The good people at Goldman Sachs and Forbes Magazine are certainly no slouches when it comes to keeping a finger on the pulse of business, finances, employment, and investing. And if their latest projections are to be believed, than Artificial Intelligence could well be on pace to radically disrupt perhaps as many as some 300 million jobs over the course of the next five years alone.
Yikes.
The World Economic Forum agrees that the impact AI will have on employers will be massive — suggesting that AI technology is currently on pace to wholly eliminate some 85 million jobs altogether, while creating a whopping 97 million new jobs for humans who can successfully master the skills that will be required to work alongside (and behind the scenes of) the near unstoppable force of AI-powered juggernauts. As columnist Emma Ascott eloquently noted in a 2021 blog entry for AllWork: “The question is no longer whether AI will change the workplace; it’s how companies can successfully use it in ways that enable – not replace – the human workforce. AI will help to make humans faster, more efficient, and more productive.”
Here at EMC² Learning, we are well aware that the tides and the times they are a changin’, and our goal is to continue to provide high quality, low-prep resources to help hard working classroom teachers stay ahead of all this AI powered information overload by providing all sorts of activities and teaching tools to help them continue to thrive in the intrinsically human-centered work that we do in our classrooms. And we firmly believe that helping teachers and students alike learn how to find clever, creative ways to stay on top of a world that is rapidly changing is one of the best ways to ensure that our instruction continues to provide rigorous and relevant lessons long after the final bell has sounded on any given school year.
Because we don’t teach content, we teach people. And we are proud to offer all kinds of resources to help today’s teachers continue to reach the needs and interests of their students as we prepare them for whatever they might encounter in the workforce and classrooms of tomorrow.
I used #EMC2learning resource AI Artwork Anarchy today and the Ss had so much fun! They used a website to turn their drawings into artwork. They asked if they could do it again right away. pic.twitter.com/pXGgwjQx3P

The geniuses at #EMC2Learning have struck gold once again. I was able to let my kids play around with Scribble Diffusion Showdown today before our Superfight Slam!
