Cooking up efficient and aesthetically pleasing presentations can take all kinds of time! That’s why we here at EMC² Learning have whipped up more than a dozen Lesson Plan Layouts for teachers to enjoy. Think of it like a box cake mix for your next slideshow!
With the resources in the Lesson Plan Library collection, teachers can add instant life to your lesson, keep their instructional routines on track, and have all all student-centered systems running smoothly. Each of these fully editable slideshows are built on an engine that focuses on a phenomenon known as the Endowed Progress Effect so that your students see what is to come, where they have been, and what you are currently focusing on. Additionally, these templates were built on the idea that teachers need things that speed up the creation process. These lesson plan layouts do just that!
Let’s take a look at how these bad boys look when you put them into play…

Step 1: Select a Theme of Your Choice
To start, choose a layout that speaks to you or your lesson. If you are a fully gamified class you might consider finding one of our themes that match yours. At launch, we’re rolling out well over a dozen different themes that can easily be tweaked or adapted to serve the unique needs of all sorts of lesson plans — from deserted Survival Islands to long forgotten realms of Medieval might and majesty, each collection is full of richly themed fonts, background images, timers, and planning tools that help deliver a clear and consistent visual message to your slideshow with minimal teacher prep required. And of course the EMC² Learning library is always growing! So be sure to check back to find one that works for you!
Step 2: Fill In Your Slideshow Content
To help keep everything neatly organized and ready to roll in any lesson that you can imagine, we’ve gone ahead and built in a fully editable “agenda” of easy to read placeholder activities for teachers to pop, swap, and present at their leisure. From a planning perspective, this can be a handy way to make sure that you’re never spending too much time on any one single activity. And for our students, seeing the lesson broken down into steps can be a great way to make clearer sense of each new step along the learning process without ever once getting hung up as to just where, exactly, they might have lost any steps along the way.
Step 3: Sync Productivity with Storytelling
If you’re looking to take your Lesson Plan Layout to the next level, the fully editable slideshow elements contained in each of these collections are a seamless and perfect fit with each of the resources that are available inside of the NPC Cutscenes lineup. For teachers who are looking to take their student-centered storytelling to a whole new level of engagement, this is where the immersive level dial goes all the way up to 11. Dropping these non-player controlled characters to deliver some of your message in your slideshow is really cool and your students will love it. Best of all, it only takes a moment of your time with our quick and easy templates that all play nice with each other. Check it out now!Â
