Each slideshow in the Legendary Leaderboards lineup comes with a unique theme to match your classroom’s needs. From the adventurous “Wall of Warriors” to the spooky “Ghostly Greats” or the epic “Hall of Heroes,” start by selecting the theme that best fits your classroom’s atmosphere and objectives.
Welcome Slide Introduction
Each slideshow begins with a welcome slide designed to introduce the leaderboard resource to your students. These instructions are delivered by a similarly themed non player character (“NPC”) that fits right into the world of your themed collection, setting the stage and immersing your students in the experience. Keep in mind that every collection is fully editable, so you can feel free to swap out any one of these placeholder characters for a familiar face of your own choosing that fits within your favorite theme — which makes these resources the perfect starting point for immersive storytelling whether you’d like to make a trip to a galaxy far, far away, or enroll your classes in a famed school for witchcraft and wizardry in a magical castle near you.
Explore Slide Templates
Each collection includes 16 different slide templates, offering various stylistic layouts for displaying data. Some slides feature spaces for the top ten players, others for the top 20, and some highlight the top 3 with additional space for noting outstanding performances. This variety ensures you can choose the best format to suit your needs, and you’re welcome to mix and match them together throughout the course of a lesson or a class year in order to keep things stylistically consistent while still offering just enough variation that your students will always have something new and exciting to capture their attention.
Customize and Edit
Every slide in the collection is fully editable, allowing you to input any data you wish to include. You can stick with a single theme throughout the school year or mix and match different slides and themes from various collections to fit your unique instructional needs. For example, a one-off review day might warrant a specific theme, or a lesson during the Halloween season might be better suited to for a template drawn from the “Ghostly Greats” collection.
Pre-formatted Slide Templates
To make setup even easier for teachers, each collection features two types of pre-formatted slide templates:
- Manual Input: Where you can manually input each student’s information in its own stand-alone textbox.
- CSV Import: Where you can simply copy and paste large swaths of information from a .csv file, making it efficient to update and manage data.
