One Win
Leads to Another.

Great teaching isn’t built all at once.

Hopefully, by now you’ve had the chance to try one of the classroom strategies from EMC² Learning. Whether it was Story Spinners, Emoji Kitchen, Facts & Fibs, Microlab, or another activity from our library, you’ve already taken the most important step.

You tried something new.

That may not sound like much, but it’s exactly how great classrooms are built.

After more than two decades in the classroom, I’ve learned that lasting change rarely comes from completely reinventing your teaching overnight. It comes from making one lesson a little stronger, learning from that experience, and using those insights to make the next lesson even better.

Before you jump into another strategy, I’d love for you to watch the short video below. It shares one of the most important lessons I’ve learned about growing as an educator.

Reflection Guide

One successful lesson is exciting. But one successful lesson doesn’t transform a classroom.

Reflection does.

The teachers who continue to grow aren’t necessarily the ones with the most ideas. They’re the ones who pause long enough to ask, “What worked, and why?” Take five minutes to think about the strategy you just tried.

  • What surprised you?
  • When did your students seem most engaged?
  • What would you absolutely do again?
  • What small adjustment would make it even stronger next time?

Those questions turn a single classroom activity into lasting professional growth.
Download the reflection guide below and use it after every new strategy you try. Over time, you’ll create a record of your growth, your ideas, and the small improvements that lead to extraordinary classrooms.
