Penny Pegagogies Are Here!

At EMC² Learning, our mission is to help schools engage at the speed of life. But that’s not just the speed of our student’s lives. Around these parts, we do PD differently. And that means moving at the busy speed of life for thousands of teachers all around the world who far too often find themselves on the receiving end of some big, grandiose invitation to “teach differently!” without so much as a single resource to help get them started on their quest.

Don’t worry y’all. We’ve been there. And we are here to help!

EMC² Penny Pedagogies are bite sized, low-prep, single-day classroom activities designed to add an instant cha-ching of life and engagement to any course or content area. They are also designed to help introduce your students to some of the most addictive and easy to use aspects of classroom gamification. Not only are they full of energy and surprise, they are a fantastic way to help teachers get a handle on the skills necessary for more ambitious student centered projects, alternative assessments, and gamified course offerings. And the best part is, you don’t even have to break the bank! Penny Pedagogies are an ever expanding array of low prep activities included with your site membership for all of our Engagement Engineers. These activities are likewise an excellent on-ramp to help teachers who might be new to gamification, or those who’d like to get a few quick wins under their belts before taking the next steps to more ambitious pedagogical shifts.

While these tiny shiny items might not seem like much by their lonesome, pennies can add up quickly to become really valuable! We’re constantly adding new activities to the Penny Pedagogy line, and they’re designed for lightning fast implementation into any course, grade level, or content area. Collecting even just a handful of these activities to your teacher piggy bank can really “change” the way your classes approach learning. As they say: A penny saved is a penny earned!

We hope you’ll consider joining us as a member of our EMC² Engagement Engineer community to access this resource and countless othersGive a click to this link for details and we’ll see you inside!
