Five Weeks. Fifteen New Challenges. One Growing Collection.

At EMC² Learning, we have always believed that classroom resources should feel ready to use, not like half-finished ideas teachers still have to rebuild before they can put them in front of students. That means the work behind the scenes matters just as much as the final activity: clear directions, thoughtful instructional design, strong visual presentation, and enough polish that a teacher can open the resource and immediately understand what to do with it.

Behind the scenes, we like to use what we call our Five-to-Forty Formula. It’s our shorthand for a simple promise: any resource on EMC² Learning should take about 5–40 minutes to master, even though we may spend 5–40 hours researching, designing, testing, revising, and polishing it before it ever reaches your classroom. The goal is simple: we do the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

That is the thinking behind our newest resource line, Stamina Stampede. Over the next five weeks, we will be adding three new Stamina Stampede challenges to the collection every week, building toward a complete set of fifteen different activities. Each one offers a different way for students to practice an academic move, build fluency, and sustain their thinking, while still feeling like part of the same recognizable resource family.

The collection begins with vocabulary, matching, and comparison challenges, then expands into graphic organization, visual thinking, example generation, questioning, evidence, writing, and more. The activities change, but the design philosophy stays the same: teachers should not have to sacrifice rigor for energy, or engagement for usability.

It might sound nerdy (we know. We get that a lot!). But that consistency matters to us.

Each new resource is built from the same visual system, instructional structure, and classroom-first design process so the collection feels coherent from beginning to end. Once teachers and students know the Stamina Stampede format, every new challenge should feel familiar enough to launch quickly while still bringing a fresh instructional purpose.

So whether you’re hitting the trail with a trusty graphic organizer or seeing how quick your students can be on the draw with a round of sketchnotes, the experience should feel consistent, polished, and ready to use. Different task. Same rhythm. Same commitment to making meaningful practice easier to launch.

The five-week rollout also reflects something we want EMC² Learning members to be able to expect from us more broadly. New resources should not arrive once in a while as isolated surprises. We want the library to feel alive, growing, and responsive to the kinds of challenges teachers are actually trying to solve. Some weeks that may mean a larger themed collection like Stamina Stampede. Other weeks it may mean a single deeper resource, a new One Screen Wonder, or another classroom tool designed to make strong instruction easier to launch.

By the end of this five-week run, teachers will have fifteen new Stamina Stampede activities available to mix, match, and adapt across grade levels and content areas. More importantly, they will have a collection built with the same standard we want attached to everything on EMC² Learning: thoughtful design, practical classroom value, and resources that are ready to work when teachers are.

And if we can wrangle up a little extra coding knowhow, there may be one more surprise waiting at the end of the trail. We’re exploring a One Screen Wonder version that could let teachers launch the entire Stamina Stampede collection directly from their dashboards, choose any challenge on the fly, and even upload custom Stampede variations of their own.

(No promises just yet, but there just might be a grand finale waiting back at the ranch!)

In the meantime: members can rest easy knowing they’ll be plenty of new content on the way. Saddle up with an annual membership and enjoy hree new challenges each week. Five weeks of additions. Fifteen new ways to get students thinking, practicing, and pushing a little farther, with maybe one last trick still hiding up our sleeve.

Giddy up! (as they say)
