Season 3 of EMC² Learning’s Sundown Showdown arrives with an action-packed collection of 12 different stand-alone activities, all wrapped together in an overnight camping adventure that we call Moonlight Madness. Simply pop this pedagogy open and fire up as many mini games as you’d like. If Sundown Showdown were a CBS reality television show, this would probably be the time in our sneak preview where our charismatic host proudly declared something like “16 Americans. 39 days. One Survivor!”
Each season of Sundown Showdown hits the ground running with high-stakes battles between student teams that will challenge their ability to work together to outwit, outplay, and outlast the competition. And like each of the two seasons of Sundown Showdown that preceded it, Moonlight Madness arrives with TWELVE brand new mini games. Eighteen custom timers. Five epic Ability categories. Four game-changing Power-Up Items. And 20 (yes, TWENTY) hot all new “Special Events” designed to introduce some unexpected twists into any course and any content area that you can imagine.

Sundown Showdown Episode 1 featured some Special Events that required students to demonstrate resilience, including an event requiring all students work underneath their desks for a few minutes.
